Service Description

The Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year — a threshold between darkness and the returning light. Across cultures and centuries, this sacred turning point has been honoured as a time to reflect, release, and renew. This special solstice gathering invites you to pause and align with the rhythms of nature. We begin with an hour of grounding yoga to prepare the body, followed by a guided yoga nidra practice — a journey into deep rest and inner stillness. Together, we’ll then share in a simple yet powerful solstice ritual, honouring the wisdom of the dark and welcoming the spark of returning light. The evening concludes with warm drinks, seasonal nibbles, and shared connection — a circle of community to remind us that we are not alone in the turning of the year. Come to mark this ancient threshold, to rest in the quiet of winter, and to step forward renewed, carrying the light of intention into the season ahead.
